Hundreds of millions of children are exploited, abused, and violently attacked each year. Many work as virtual slaves in hazardous conditions. Others are abducted and forced to become child soldiers or child prostitutes. The trust of many children has been further betrayed by incest and other horrific acts of abuse.

The rate at which men and women in Africa are scrambling to AIDS has stretched the capacity of conventional orphan care system, giving rise to orphan or child headed homes. The emergence of O/CHH systems largely results from the failure of traditional extended family system to cope with the ever growing number of orphans, many of whom lack access to basic services such as education, food water and sanitation.

The African young empowerment programme intends to improve access to education, medical care, water and sanitation services for orphan or child headed homes in Jinja district of Uganda. This project can only be achieved with support from you our dear. JOIN US NOW AND BRING CHANGE!!
